Skybus cancels Oakland route
Skybus has canceled another destination. Skybus flights from Columbus, OH to Oakland, CA will stop effective May 31st 2008. Skybus has already canceled service to Burbank, CA and will stop service to San Diego, CA on March 7th. Skybus spokesman Bob Tenenbaum has blamed rising jet fuel costs as the reason for the cancellations.

That’s because someone failed to hedge fuel when it was only $85 a barrel and Bob doesn’t know who it was that was supposed to do that because the little magnetic letters by the front door didn’t spell it out for him…so he had to kind of lie about it a little bit.

Skybus continues to fly to Burbank, CA and for the time being will do so. Yes Skybus did drop the evening flight to Burbank but is still offering their morning flight. Thank you.

Nikki, let me tell what Bill’s unexpected exit signifies: PANIC! If you were a real flight attendant, you would understand the peril of panic.
The writing on the wall is plainly visible. End of story.
You’ll be unemployed before 2009. I guarantee it.
